Picasa Templates

Picasa is an awesome Photo Editing / Organization program, and best of all it is completely free! In order to export photos albums in the way I want, I've created some of my own templates:

XML export using small Thumbnails and No shadow

This template is what I use for albums exported to my PicaView Album Script. It makes small (40x40px) thumbnails (perfect for Navigation bar) and does not create a drop shadow for Thumbs.

This template is what I use for albums exported to my Wordpress Picasa Plugin. It makes the Thumbnails a bit larger than normal (150px max) and does not create a drop shadow for Thumbs.

Installation Instructions

To install a new Template in Picasa 2, find the install location of picasa 2 on your harddrive, usually:

c:\Program Files\Picasa 2\

Templates are located in

c:\Program Files\Picasa 2\web\templates\

so simply extract the zip into that directory.

Run Picasa 2, and notice that under Export as Webpage, you now have a new export option.
